Primary Movement IV develops the theme of creation through the division of the primal form. What was previously perceived as a single energetic structure now splits into two interconnected yet distinct parts.

The yellow-orange and red-blue forms appear to have only just separated from one another. They still intersect, maintaining contact and a memory of their shared origin, yet each is already acquiring its own visual character, colour, and inner energy. Division here does not signify destruction — on the contrary, it becomes a condition for the multiplication and further development of life.

The surrounding black, white, grey, and ochre planes create a dynamic force field. Their large, curved silhouettes encompass the central forms, generating a sense of rotation and continuous movement. In contrast to the painterly, textured matter at the centre, the surrounding space is more simplified and graphic in character. This contrast heightens the impression of a living, ever-changing substance emerging within a universal environment.

Primary Movement IV captures the moment when unity becomes multiplicity. The primal impulse no longer merely generates form — it initiates the process of division, differentiation, and the emergence of new structures.
