Primary Movement I is a work from the Prima Motus series, dedicated to the theme of creation and the search for the primal impulse from which form emerges.

At the centre of the composition, an organic structure appears in a state of becoming. Its nature is not yet fully defined — it simultaneously evokes living matter, an embryo, or an energetic fragment of an unknown form. Intense reds and oranges create a sense of inner warmth, tension, and energy.

Large black and white planes stand in contrast to this central structure. They are not a neutral background, but dynamic silhouettes that surround the central form, compressing and simultaneously opening up the space around it. Their curves create a kind of circular movement, as though matter were entering a field of invisible forces. The contrast between the vibrant organic form and the almost monochromatic environment intensifies the sense of its emergence.

The multilayered texture and direction of the brushstrokes emphasise the process of becoming: matter seems to concentrate, transform, and gradually acquire form. Movement here is understood not as displacement through space, but as the primal state in which something new is born.

The work invites reflection on the mystery of the first cause — the elusive moment when energy transforms into matter, chaos begins to acquire structure, and the possibility of existence becomes existence itself.
