In Presence 5.06, space is composed of several environments of different character. At the bottom lies an ordered rhythm of parallel horizontal lines; above it, a lighter transitional zone; at the centre, a dark concentration; while the upper section almost dissolves into a luminous golden texture. The composition may evoke an abstract landscape, yet its structure no longer follows the conventional logic of landscape.
A group of thin diagonal lines passes through these layers. It belongs to none of the fields, yet intersects them all. This becomes a crucial element of the work: it creates the sense of an external impulse — a signal, a ray, a trajectory, or a flow whose presence can be recognized only through its passage across the environment.
