In Origo / The Beginning — Episode 05 , the scale of creation shifts from boundless space to the microcosm of life. The painterly field is filled with dozens of rounded structures resembling cells, membranes, organelles, or unknown microscopic forms. They exist within a shared environment, interacting, multiplying, and forming a complex system.
The dominance of green, turquoise, and blue tones shifts the theme of primal energy towards organic becoming. Green becomes not merely a colour, but a sign of a new stage — the emergence of life's capacity to absorb light and transform it into energy. In this sense, the birth of chlorophyll can be understood as a metaphor for one of the fundamental transitions: from the existence of matter to its capacity to sustain and reproduce life.
The numerous spherical formations differ in colour, texture, and internal structure. Some possess distinct nuclei, while others dissolve into their surroundings or appear to be undergoing division. Among them emerge small signs and impulses resembling codes of a language of nature yet to be deciphered.
Despite the abundance of elements, the composition is not chaotic. It resembles a living system in which each form exists independently while simultaneously belonging to a greater whole. The macrocosm explored in earlier works seems to be reflected within the cell itself: a sphere may be a planet, a cell, a nucleus, or the embryo of a new organism.
The Birth of Chlorophyll evokes the moment when primal energy acquires the capacity to transform light into life. The microcosm becomes another universe, and creation continues within living matter itself.
